HTML Guardian encrypts your HTML code and also provides many other types of security for your website. Although the app works well, many of its features may be too complicated for beginners.

Pros

Protection of Internet code: The basic HTML encryption worked quite well, and the code was adequately protected.

Protection of files: HTML Guardian can also protect other file types. For instance, you can choose to disable the right-click feature so that others can't right-click on your images to Save As.

Cons

Outdated interface: HTML Guardian looks out of date in the Windows 8.1 environment and is therefore harder to navigate for someone who is used to more modern navigation structures.

Complicated features: The more advanced features are hard to access and complicated to use.

Bottom Line

If you're worried about people stealing your code or Web files, this program can help you protect them. But it takes some time and effort to learn how to use it comprehensively.

Summary
I haven't tested this program because like many user's of software, I like to read the reviews first and someone has stated that it is not free. Indeed visit the developers website and you will discover this to be true. Why has cnet gone lazy in doing it's home work? Forgive me for stating the obvious, but Free should be Free and Free to Try should be, oh I give up!

The personal edition arranges a green banner on the top of Web Page. Useless.

Pros
This was an excellent way for me to protect against all of those nasty internet viruses, literally saved me houres by protecting me from at least 50 viruses so far!!!!
Cons
Sometimes makes my cp a tiny bit slower, but thats about it, generally a great product
