Create a printable grocery list with this plain but functional application that will even calculate item costs and tax. Grocery List Organizer is split into two panels, one for items to select from and one for your list. Click on an item to add it to your list, but you'll be limited to 50 items in the demo version. Grocery List Organizer is preset with a sample store and categories that include dairy, health and beauty, and produce. You can add or modify items and stores in the program's database to further customize the application. The grocery list includes quantity, unit, and price, and the tax rate can be changed to get an accurate total cost. Lists are automatically saved with the date of creation, and can be named for better organization. Though it's short on frills, any budget-conscious user will appreciate knowing what a grocery shopping excursion will cost.

  "Pretty Much what I was looking for!"

  Pros: Being able to put in prices for things you shop for.
  Also being able to put in your sales taxes to get the grand total.
  Sort out what each area of the store food is in.
  Being able to make different store lists.

  Cons: The only con is in the demo, you can only have a 50 item shopping list, full version lets you do unlimited.

  Summary: This was pretty much what I was looking for to keep track of what prices are at the different stores I shop at. I knew in my head a few places are cheaper on a few items, but this lets me see it once I get the prices in. With also seeing the tax in ... read more >>
