Publisher's Description
From MDickie:
Having redefined genres for the past 5 years, the concept king turns his magic touch to soccer - and delivers the most character-driven interpretation of the sport seen yet. Leave the professional experience on the bench, and rediscover your roots playing real people with real stories. Create your own sporting saviour from scratch and embark on a campaign for world domination - sampling the culture of each continent and challenging their heroes. Match after match, you'll gain loyal followers and confront bitter rivals as you shimmy your way through a political minefield.

"The best 3D soccer game on the independent scene!"
Version: Grass Roots 1.1
Pros
Fans that are used to mainstream games like FIFA and Pro Evo may find this a little primitive, but it's an absolutely amazing effort for just ONE MAN!!! This is hands down the best 3D sim you'll find on these pages that wasn't made by a major corporation, and at $14.99 it's worth supporting. The gameplay itself is also extremely fun in an arcade kind of way, and the RPG campaign mode is like nothing you've ever seen from a soccer game. All in all, an innovative entry to a tired old genre!
Cons
Ignorant players won't like the cartoony graphics and simplistic gameplay, and the fictitious 5-a-side teams will irritate people that want to replicate real-life.
