CNET Editors' review
This freeware browser adds numerous helpful functions over the standard Internet Explorer. Gogo Explorer's clean default interface is reminiscent of old Mac programs, but maintains the look and functionality of the default IE toolbar. The browser is easy to skin if you don't like the retro look. Installing the app is a breeze, but we were greatly disappointed in the program's almost non-existent Help file. This is a program you'll have to play with to uncover all it can do.
Gogo Explorer is built on the IE engine, and operates as easily as the parent program. You can choose not to use some of its extra features and it still outperforms IE in memory management alone. Page-display speed is similar to IE and Firefox, and we found test sites displayed properly. The browser's tabs are a great improvement over the default functions in IE and Firefox. Hover over a tab to find six single-click options that make your browsing easier and faster. The program's pulldown menus include all the expected functions, and add easy access to a myriad of security and other tools. Proxies, Ad Filters, Content Control, Translation, Form Fillers, and numerous other functions are simple to start and work very well. We really liked the image drag-and-drop feature to save Web site photos to our desktop.
Gogo Explorer easily fits various skill levels. Novices can use it as a simple browser, but experienced users will easily pick up the advanced functions. This is a freeware browser that deserves a chance to replace your copy of Internet Explorer.

"Not a bad little browser."
Version: Gogo Explorer 3.1.6
Pros
Very lightweight and easy on resources.
Cons
Yet another IE look-alike.
Summary
One of many free available web browsers. This one's not too bad and is a very lightweight browser. For those with an older machine or very little RAM, this might be a nice browser to use. The most recent release includes added customizations, and this program integrates well with applications using IE.

"Waste of Space - Not worth 1 Star"
Version: Gogo Explorer 3.1.6
Pros
None found
Cons
Just like ALL the other Browsers I have tried - kept crashing after 2 or 3 days after installing it
Summary
I would rate this along side the likes of IE8, Firefox, Sahara, Google Chrome, Avant, & Maxthon - ALL have the same problem - work fine until first update - then nothing but crashing or freezing 7 or 8 times per day.
I am running WindowsXP with Service Pk 3, AMD Athlon Dual Core 2.7Ghz CPU with 2GB RAM - and still searching for a reliable Web Browser.
