This free Internet Explorer add-on lets you search, play, and download games from several Web sites. GameSpot Deluxe Toolbar adds a toolbar on top of your browser window and utilizes some search engines, gaming sites, and official sites of well-known video game console manufacturers, such as Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony. You'll get quick access to the latest news, reviews, previews, and cheat codes on several game consoles, including the Xbox 360, Wii, PS3, and PSP. It's easy to join forums, watch video game trailers, download game patches and free game trials, or chat with other toolbar users. Like similar toolbars, GameSpot Deluxe Toolbar houses a variety of welcome extras, such as a pop-up blocker, an e-mail notification feature, weather forecasts, a browser and search history cleaner, and options to customize your toolbar--all of which worked well during our program assessment.
