It works, but see cons.
Guba-Guba Instant Messenger tries to load, and probably will if you don't have a firewall and anti-virus software. That is a way for hackers to use your computer, if they want to. Guba-Guba is from Poland or South Africa. GG.exe is inside of gg.zip and stays in your temp files. That shows that it isn't a legit program. Don't download it for your computer's sake. I've now deleted it from my temp folder. CNET, get's a fail for recommending this to me. I have Windows 7, and was alerted by a flag icon stating that the Guba-Guba Instant Messenger was having trouble starting. Wikipedia calls it adware. I think it could be used as a backdoor to your PC. I'd take this off of CNET, if I were an editor.
Has adware called Guba-Guba Instant Messenger gg.exe that tries to install, and it stays in the temp file of the user, rather than going to the Programs folder, in Windows. Do not download.

I wrote this, review, but I'm not sure if it's a threat, I'm going to give it a second try. Also, I meant guda guda, not guba guba.
Was looking for an application that can capture full images linked to the thumbnails. Many online recommendations are about using FF extension DownThemAll. It never worked at my hands. This works without any hassle. Great program.
Not too sure but may be bit memory hog (but my machine is from 2006 with 1.5GB RAM)
I am not an expert at image management or capturing, I just like to be able to grab it and use it when I need it, and this program is sooooooo easy to use and perfectly effective for my purposes, thanks Cnet!!!
I just started it, but was not able to find a way to edit the picture within the program for a simple crop, but like I said, just installed it and I am sure I will figure it out soon enough = D

I was able to download just one picture out of 50! Does the program work with dial up too? (I am on dial up). It would be fine if there was a place where one can ask for help...
Small, simple to use, just does what it says it does, and does it very well
Has a little trouble with more complex and/or hidden galleries
I've used Diodia's picture toolbar add-in for IE before, and it's heavy on resources and a bit of a pain, and often make you fight it rather than use it. GG is the opposite, small, simple, and just does the job of tracing a gallery pages links and downloading the pictures it finds. It has a few customisable options like minimum picture size and download directory, which are all you need. I've been using it all night now and love it. The only problem was with websites that try to mess with links and redirect you all over the place. GG got 99.9% of all galleries I asked it to download, and that was a lot of galleries. Do yourself a favour and download this little gem.
Lightweight to download, simple to use, and downloaded all the images I needed in less than a blink (5 different pages automatically). The best I've used.
None yet, worked just fine first atempt.
A time saver!!!!
Not all galleries behaves equal, be patient and wait it to download EVERYTHING haha
I needed something like this since 10 years ago :P
Very simple to use - works fast. A time saver if you're reviewing a number of items...
