Used GTasks for Android?
Editors’ Review
Gtasks isn't flashy or full of breathtaking features, but it will effectively keep you on task. The app sacrifices a lot of the connectivity of competitors to make it easy to save, share, and get reminders of the things you need to do every day. If you don't need many of the add-ons that Astrid and other to-do apps offer you, this app is worth exploring.
Though Gtasks syncs directly to Google's services, it seems unrelated to Google's own Task app. Instead, this app lets you create a task and share it to your Google account, as well as invite others to join you in it. In addition to setting a date for the task, Gtasks lets you create a location, due date, and reminders as often as you like. The app shows you all of your tasks in a sleek, minimalist menu that is easy to read and organize. The built-in calendar is the best-looking part of the app, as it looks like it was made specifically for Android Ice Cream Sandwich and higher. The premium version of the app claims to offer more features like custom backgrounds and a pattern lock to secure your data, which might be worth it if you crave more customization options.
Fans of the minimalist approach will love that Gtasks offers stress-free task management that only takes a second or two to set up. While it won't wow you the way Evernote, Astrid, or other memory-helpers can with online syncing and other goodies, it still merits a trial run. The fact that it can attach itself to your Google account is worthwhile enough on its own.
