Reviewing GT Invoice Maker was daunting up front. The vast majority of invoicing programs are cluttered, confusing, and much more frustrating than necessary. GT Invoice Maker, however, turned out to be a breath of fresh air.

At first glance, the program's interface looks a little cluttered, with a multitude of labeled boxes representing each field of the invoice. The program's built-in Help file is brief, and we'd have liked a bit more detail about some of the features, but GT Invoice Maker is so intuitive to use that it wasn't a major drawback. After a few moments, it all made perfect sense. The first thing you do is configure GT Invoice Maker by adding items and sales representatives and adjusting the tax rate. Next, you can edit the invoice template, a process that involves the included NeoNotebookDBPro Report Designer. The process is incredibly simple and mostly just entailed selecting items from dropdown menus and entering a bit of text. We inserted our own logo and tinkered a bit with the format. In no time at all, we'd created an invoice. The print preview displayed an attractive, professional-looking document ready to send to customers. Overall, we found this program easy to learn and use, and we think it's a great choice for small businesses that need good-looking invoices without a lot of fuss.

GT Invoice Maker has a 15-day trial period. It comes as a ZIP file but installs and uninstalls without issues. We highly recommend this program to all users.

What’s new in version 7.02

1- Version 7 comes with the possibility to add 6 different customized informative blanks. The information of these blanks are saved on the database so can be searched when needed.2- Version 7 can input 2 taxes - for example City Tax and State Tax or any other two words used in your country.3- Also version 7 can be set up to use any different currency symbol for example: (the Dollar, the Euro, the Sterling Pound or any other).

Pros
The software has an automatic Order Number counter, doesn?t have to enter it manually. Further more, what it does offer is the possibility to start the automatic Order Number from whatever number the user wants to start counting.

I have been using this software every day for about a year now and I want to say that I haven?t found any other invoice software like this one anywhere yet! This invoice software is so easy to use and the printing template looks very professional and the related database runs at a lighting speed, even with thousands of customers listed.

Pros
Can change the form within limits to what you want or need. Keeps a running total for all Price is so low and easy to use that what ever problem or limits you may have will let you work around.
Cons
Doesn't allow for automatic invoice numbering. You have to place the number manually. Can not rearrange the form itself. Does not allow for export into spreadsheets as far as I know. It may but I am just learning all about it.
Summary
If you are just starting out a small business, this is a great program to help get you started with a limited budget. Has a good look and easy input screen. Has it's limitations but worth it for the low price. Great for beginners.
