From Sharath :GMail Monitor helps you monitor your Gmail inbox. It has two views: a minimized view where you only see how many new (unread) messages you've got and a maximized view where you get to see more information (like subject, author, summary, etc.) about each of the new messages.
Features: 1.You can view information about each of the incoming messages such as subject of the message, who sent the message, when the message arrived (like 10 minutes ago), a brief summary of the message, an option to open the message in your Web browser. 2. You can ask GMail Monitor to monitor and notify you about all incoming messages, only those messages having specific label, only those messages from a particular e-mail id. 3.Choose the way you get notified about new messages such as choose an audio alert to be played and choose an alert popup to be shown. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.

"dont know what to do with it"
Pros: The file is downloaded as a .widget, What do I do with this in Windows XP ??? I want it to work in mozilla with gmail.

"It might be good but I couldn't open it"
Pros: I will never know
Cons: The download is a widget file that Windows couldn't/wouldn't open. I expect I could have opened it by downloading some opening software, but the exercise becomes pointless, It's too much hassle for just a little gadget.
