Did not work. Also, during uninstall it it tried to install a program called DNS.EXE which I unchecked, and it still installed it and right away my virus scanner warned me of a virus.

Did not properly convert my flv. The video went a lot faster than the audio, so it was all wrong. I finally found YouTube FLV to AVI Easy Converter 5.9.40 and that one works.

Summary
Although it appeared to be merging/converting three .wmv video clips, I couldn't find the output merged file anywhere on my computer (let alone the directory I chose beforehand. Also, one of the three .wmv clips I was working with from my files simply disappeared from my files and is gone.
If you have precious video clips and don't want to lose them forever, stay away from this software! -

Not one of those cheap programs advertised as free until it's installed. This one is perfectly free. It has a nice gooey interface, and installs simply, even sets you up if your lacking a codec.
Cons
Documentation is minimal, and although it says it can batch convert, I see no means of doing so.
Summary
Free, and worth a try. Great for a video editor, but lacking in layman's design.
