• CAUTION! Fraudulently Loaded With Adware/Spyware

  Not one SINGLE one ? even after all the cleanup BS. The one from Maniac Tools is FAR BETTER than this and is only ad-driven not full of malware. SADLY EVERY SINGLE ONE of 'CONVERT AUDIO FREE' products are that way!! SO STAY AWAY FROM 'CONVERT AUDIO FREE' products and site

  Fraudulently ADVERTISED as FREE yet nothing but ONLY adware! Fraudulently does NOT let you know from the website it is only 95% adware. Fraudulent! Even if you carefully disable all allowable adware options you are still FLOODED with ads. Had to down load the 'Autorun.exe' utility from Microsoft, to git rid of it. Fraudulently tried to change your start page, tried to change the default search-engine, and actually installs swiffsearch ? one of the WORSE malware/adware around. Fraudulently PURCHASES ANY possible positive comments on here! More ads than even Firefox Ad-blocker Plus could not handle them ? however PLEASE NOTE: AdBlocker Plus was able to be modified to block all. HINT, HINT!

  CERTAINLY not worth the cleanup hassle! A person or company is ONLY as good as their word. SO, if they will lie about ONE thing they will lie about ANYTHING! That leaves me wondering just WHAT damage, spy-ware or virus have they left in my system? ABSOLUTELY cannot understand how CNET could allow/recommend such BS!! Reviews must now be bought off :(

  The video quality seriously suffered in the conversion. On top of that, the installer installed a bunch of spyware that raised flags in both my Norton and Malwarebytes software. I am happy that I am well protected, be careful.

  Summary

  I only wanted to rotate my video and save it as wmv. For future reference, use rotatemyvideo(dot)net instead.

  First, I don't know if it's from CNET or from the developer, but there are probably 15 or so programs it prompts you to install. Typical freeware bundle garbage that's the norm these days. You download the CNET download manager setup, which gives you another download manager, which then gives you the actual installer you need (it's about 16mb, not the 500-700kb ones). If you get an error when trying to run the installer, you might need to right-click it & Run as Administrator. Some notes: 1) Choose custom install. 2) Uncheck the boxes to make Yahoo your default search & homepage. 3) When you see Decline / Accept, choose Decline each time. I'm going to uninstall it now that I'm done using it & run a virus scanner, and maybe even Spybot S&D, as I don't trust it sitting on my computer...

  Very fast, preserve the original quality, can convert in bulk, the whole that is. I like it

  After doing 3 files it stopped working. It stops and shows some error and can't continue. I shut down the pc and restarted and no affect. I have a 32 GB RAM and 8 processors in the PC and 2 TB drive with windows 8.1. Don't know why it's doing this
