There is no pro when you're talking about having to re-encode the mp3s.
Cons
Do you know how bad that sounds when you re-encode an mp3? It's like making a .jpg of a jpg, it's horrible. If you want this program to be of any value to anyone, join and split the mp3s exactly as they're encoded, without having to re-encode.

This app delivered on its claim to "cut" or trim mp3 files to a desired start and end time. It is very simple and user friendly and it takes less than 5 seconds to complete the MP3 trim. The beauty of this application is its simplicity.
Cons
BIGGEST DRAWBACK: Lacks the ability to copy the mp3 tags of original MP3 to newly converted or trimmed MP3. Although it achieved the main function of trimming or cutting MP3, it is a bit of a pain to have to go in and refill all the MP3 tags.
Summary
I just downloaded this application because I occasionally have songs that either start or end with someone talking, instead of just the song itself. Only reason I gave it 4.5 stars out of 5 is because it lacks the ability to keep the mp3 tags of the original to the converted file. Overall, a great application because it accomplishes the fundamental action of cutting or trimming an MP3. I will continue to use it any time I need to cut a part out of a song. Highly Recommend!

I like the fact that it doesn't just have sliding bars to try and determine where to start and stop. Instead, it has the option of setting beginning and ending with specific time settings. I can play the clip on realplayer and pause it at exactly where I want it to start, then look at the time to fill that in on the cutter program. The same is true for where to end the clip. It makes it more precise and easier to get exactly the portion I want to copy. The sound quality of the finished clip is good also. It also has both cutter & joiner in one program. An added plus is that there is no malware to try and avoid when downloading/installing.

It looks good and a very simple user interface and if it worked, it would be great.
Cons
Despite wasting a whole two hours and getting sore wrists, I could not get this heap of trash to work. Sorry but it is quite annoying.
Summary
Whoever wrote the previous positive reviews must have been using a different program or else they were paid for their reviews. It was utterly impossible to get this worst piece of software ever that promised much and delivered nothing but an upsetting waste of precious time. Don't try this program, you WILL regret it.
