  Pros

  Playing 3GP files on the PC is a tough job as this format is especially meant for mobiles and some portable devices. Trying to play such files on the PC requires conversion of the files. But with the Free 3GP player your problems are solved.

  I have trusted downloads from Cnet in the past but no more!! Don't know why I only read the review that was showing instead of all. During installation other toolbars come up but if you decline they won't be installed BUT TermBlazer is installed. This excerpt is from VirusResearch.org "TermBlazer is an adware application. It's extremely harmful, intrusive, and damaging, and it shouldn't be allowed to remain on your computer. As soon as you first become aware of its presence, get rid of it! If you allow this potentially unwanted program to stay, you're only setting yourself up for a bad time. Once the tool latches onto your computer, issues start piling up almost instantaneously." Very bad news ... don't install this software and risk potential trouble.

  My Anti-Virus, TrendMicro, blocked the installer link "malicious website" (downloader link: www.report-download.com.) I have downloaded from CNET for decades, trusted it and thought the anti-virus was wrong. So I turned it off. MISTAKE! I ran the installer. It did not install the player. Instead, it hung at step 3 of 4 and INSTALLED Binkiland on my computer. This It closed my browsers, installed itself in my browsers and added a quick link to my task bar. Binkiland hijacks your browser and is MALWARE! I closed my browser and attempted to uninstall. It would not uninstall with the message close all Binkiland windows and try again. All browser windows were closed. I found five instances of it running in the task manager window. Once I closed them all I was able to uninstall. I have turned the Antivirus blocker back on and I will not be turning it off for CNET again.

  Summary

  I am surprised and disappointed. I have always been able to trust CNET for software that was free of spyware, adware and malware. Apparently, downloading from CNET must now be down with caution. :(
