Publisher's Description
From Rogers Technical:
This is a zipped file of over 4700 TrueType fonts (fonts.zip). They're freely available throughout the net. Just unzip them to a folder and install them as necessary. You probably don't want to load them all onto your system at once, but rather use a font viewer to find the one you like then use it. They are sorted into directories for each letter of the alphabet. Scanned, tested, and checked. They work with The Gimp and within Windows.

"GREAT LOADS OF FONTS!!"
Version: Font Bonanza 1.0
Pros
Lots of great non standard fonts in many different directories. A must for graphic artist and for web page developers
Cons
Yeah it is a large file but worth it since it was free. A font program would have made it rock but the Font Explorer program you offer for FREE also is just the right package deal.

"It's a Lot of Fonts, No Question About It!"
Version: Font Bonanza 1.0
Pros
I was looking for a font and I was shocked and revolted at how many "free" fonts sites directed me to something called Fonts.com, where three fonts will set you back 30 bucks. I checked with Download.com. Problem solved.
Cons
As others have noted, this wasn't a fast download but let's be realistic, folks; 4,700 of ANYTHING takes time.
Summary
These are a lot-o-fonts and, this far into the Internet Age, it's great that something as basic as fonts are available in these numbers at this price: free. 4,700 True Type fonts. Free. Specialty fonts, sure, you should pay for them. But Font Bonanza is what's already out there. Charging for basic fonts is like going to a restaurant and being charged to use the menu. I'm sure some people might do it - hello, Fonts.com - but some people still don't get Sinatra. That doesn't mak them right. So there. Font Bonanza is huge and it's free. The end.
