"Great backup program"

Pros
Very easy to use. Set this program up and it works in the background flawlessly! Backup/copy the whole hard drive, a few folders or just a few files. Use the wizard to set up task(s) and then "forget abou it".
Cons
Can't think of any right now.
Summary
I have several tasks that run throughout the week to backup files from my C drive and files from an external drive. Had a minor problem with version 2.0.4, but tech support was able to help me (even tho I'm still in the evaluation period). I downloaded newer version (2.0.5) which solved the problem. If you're looking for a no-nonsense backup program, this is it!

Summary
Not only is the software easy to use, their customer service is great. I accidentally bought folder match before I realized what I really needed was folder clone, they very quickly and easily gave me a new registration code for FolderClone.
I couldn't be happier. This program will backup all your data files and then keep it up to date on a schedule that you set, which is flexible enough for me. Unbelievably fast copies. -

FolderClone Pro can handle "In Use" files, and it will email me when it encounters an error. I use FolderMatch as well.

This program really works incredibly well. I think that some of the poor reviews may have something to do with being misinformed. I was able to backup over the network quite quickly and the backup was able to include hidden files and it was a full sync. I think this program is awesome for those of us who dont want to do a full system image but would rather just do a backup of the data that we need. It works just great to backup my documents, outlook PST, game data, etc. 2 thumbs up from me!!

"One way clone, not a sync"

Seems to have a nice set of features for a basic backup.
Cons
I was hoping to use this to keep my desktop and laptop in sync, but the software only does a one-way clone from the initiating system, not a proper synchronization. If I initiate a folder clone from my desktop, it will toss any files which exist only on the laptop.

FolderClone is a breeze to set up. It copies files, documents and folders to as many drives or storage devices as necessary. I tested 6 other programs that promised to do what FolderClone does and none came close to FolderClone for its user friendliness. Some of the other programs did not perform as promised. This program will save me tons of time. Their customer service is fast to respond to questions too. I am sold on this product.

I use FolderClone to perform server backups. Using FolderClone we are able to backup valuable data one file server to two other servers in a different physical location. FolderClone runs on a scheduled basis at night and provides a complete log of exceptions.
One of our users also has FolderClone installed on his desktop to synchronize the files on which he is working to the network and at the same time keep and up-to-date backup on diskette. All he has do is open FolderClone, check the folders he wants to synchronize to the network or back up to diskette and run the program. It is very simple for him to use and quite reliable.
I recommend to use of FolderClone to anyone who needs to synchronize data.
