This application creates simple but effective shortcuts to frequently used folders, but doesn't offer any advanced folder-management features. Folder Pilot's well-designed interface makes it easy to set up and create shortcuts to folders and it offers several ways to access them. It adds a toolbar to Windows Explorer with menus to quickly access and open any drive, folder, or subfolder, and specific areas like Media or My Computer. Folder Pilot also integrates with the Explorer and desktop-context menus, adding your customized shortcuts to folders, drives, or network places. It offers a quick and easy option to add a selected folder to your shortcuts. While Folder Pilot includes the standard fare found in similar apps, it doesn't include any advanced security options such as encryption or folder locking. Users looking for an effective folder-navigation tool will find this app covers the basics nicely.

  "Crashes Windows Explorer"

  Pros: Not much I can say about it... didn't even get a chance to really use it to see the benefits.

  Cons: After installing, I attempted to launch the folder pilot toolbar and it continuosly crashed my Windows Explorer.
