• registration code NOT work, no response from support

  stops recording after 2 minutes, registration code (serial number) doesn't work, and there was no response from any of the e-mails (technical support or sales) at all

  recorder works fine up to the 83,222kb threshold. after that it's worthless. The add they write is so misleading in that they advertise that you could record for as long as your drive as available memory. This is NOT the case again all my attempts to record end at the same point, 83,222. They

They advertise customer support yet they have not ever responded to the many support questions I have asked regarding this problem. Although they were there when it came to accepting payment for the software.

  I would say if you are savoy enough to figure out any tech problems on your own it's a fine program. If you hope to receive any of the supposed "support" they offer then you are completely on your own. I am currently searching for a similar program without a 83,222 threshold and who offers reputable and reliable support. Anyone have any suggestions?

  Pros

  Even without reading the help file, i was able to instantly split large mp3 files, join other mp3 files into one 70 min file for burning an audio CD, and record music from the internet without any problem whatsoever. If you're looking for a good, high-quality, user-friendly software to record, split, join,... or do other things with your MP3 files, then look no further, because from my experience this one of the best programs you will ever find. Easy to use excellent all-in-one tool !

  Pros

  Seems to be a great product, very intuitive to use with clear recording.

  Cons

  Same issue as Goshtac15 and it won't accept my registration number so I can only record two minutes of audio. Really need this to record something that expires in ten hours but alas no response from the help desk after six hours (not long I know but I need it ASAP!)..

  Summary

  Come on Focus - please sort this issue out so we don't have to wait around before we can use your product.

  Pros

  Easy to use, works great. Reasonably priced. No requirements to load tool bars or any of that junk adware/trackers add ons.

  Cons

  Had difficulty too with registration. Regnow the company they use to send you the license code after purchase did not send an immediate email (within ten minutes) So I thought the Order ID was the license code. That number did not work. Regnow was suppose to send the code so went to their www entered Order ID# & email and viola got the license code online. Cut and paste license code 3x still did not work. A light bulb idea from previous similar experience before told me to manually type in code. Viola! That worked. PS after going to Regnow website I finally got the email from them with license code (about 20-30 minutes after purchase)

  I wanted to record a streaming audio to MP3. First tried Audacity which only captured my microphone but found out it requires stereo mix or wave out drivers for W7 to capture audio fed to speakers. My W7 lacked those drivers so had to find a audio capture software would do this. Found MP3 Record Pro does the job and it worked beautifully.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Jun 8, 2013<p/>Another CON only a 120 sec capture in trial mode which is stated but I missed so beware if you are testing it on a one time stream capture that you wanted

• Great program if it would unlock from trial mode

  The little I have played with this program, I have been impressed with the various functions and the interface. That being said, I must say that if you pay for the full version you may have just lost $10. If you go and pay for registration, you get a receipt via e-mail right away with a license code. Only problem is that the license code doesn't work to take the program out of trial mode.

  Cons

  As stated in the Pros - looks great, but getting it registered seems next to impossible. Numerous e-mails to the FocusSoft website support have gone unanswered over several days. I finally sent a message to their Merchant account handler and hope maybe they can inform the maker of this issue. Or if this company still collecting for a product they no longer support I would hope that the Online Merchant provider gets to the bottom of this and cancels their account.

  Bottom Line: BUYER BEWARE as you may have just kissed $10 away!<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Apr 8, 2013<p/>UPDATE: 4/8/2013 Although I still had some issues at first with the new codes, Focus Soft support got right back to me on this and we finally got the registration issue worked out with the newest version and an updated code. Finally the program is registered and is working great. Now that the issues have been worked out, I am quite impressed with the program. I am posting this shortly after my reinstall and testing the REGISTERED Version and I am really happy with the results so far. I have yet to try out all the features, but what I have tried worked flawlessly and I now would rate this at 4 + stars for my review. ( Would have been 5 if I hadn't had to play e-mail tag for 5 days with support, but they finally came through and I am quite happy with the product) I am sure that if you try out this program and don't run into the same issues that I did, you will be very pleased with your purchase of this program - Bottom line, a very good program at a great price compared to many.

• Sound Editor Don't try

  The MP3 player is good and easy to use so is the editor . . . but

  I have tried and tried and tried with this company to register my paid copy of the MP3 Pro which also includes the sound editor, but it's like lights are on, but nobody's home. Not once have they replied, which makes me think they are out of business.
