  Watermark on trial version. Would rather see watermark appear after the trial period has expired.

  Summary

  I was looking for a flip book generator that would work on all browsers and platforms, including mobile devices. Other products I looked at required java or flash and/or required separate output steps to support various platforms. FLIP PDF could not be simpler to install and use. I literally had my old flipbook converted within seconds and it works great on mobile devices. The price is very reasonable and well-below competing applications that cost much more.

  PC veraion works great. iPad redirect works fine but has some limitations. I understand this is to be upgraded.

  Looked fine. Fares well against some online versions if you have server capability. Have not tried their server.

  Pros

  Packed with features, Flip PDF is very attractive and professional. Importing PDFs worked flawlessly and it maintained URL links. Output choices cover most any need. Excellent how-to videos are provided on their flipbuilder.com website as well.

  Cons

  A watermark shows on your trial, but don't let that stop you; you'll want to buy! If I could change one thing, it would have the ability to zoom at various graduations. It's either full page or all the way in, but that hasn't been a big deal.

  Summary

  We compared many different flipbook options for our online magazine and always came back to this. Its ease of use and customization options, plus a fair price and excellent customer service before and after the sale make it a leader in its class. For the record, a pro version is also available which allows video and audio to be part of your flipbook, and lets you create internet links for non-URLs. We ultimately upgraded to the pro version, and it has performed flawlessly.
