  "I now cannot operate without this program."

  Pros: This is a fantastic program that I have owned for several years now. It doesn't slow down your computer - it SPEEDS IT UP. Having the screen redraw 8 different windows on one screen is much slower than switching between 8 different desktops with Flashdesktops.

  Set up shortcut keys using ctrl/alt combinations with the numpad keys for maximum efficency.

  Try it, love it, buy it.

  Cons: There are the odd rare programs that don't play nicely with FD (and you can set FD to ignore them). Other than that this program is perfect.

  "overcomplicated - skipping simple features"

  Pros: It seems to be more efficient than most simpler programs at hiding windows and re-displaying them. There are a lot of features.

  Cons: The user interface is not intuitive and does not look very professional. There are a lot of features that are so customizable that it takes too long to do something that is two clicks on simular programs, such as automatically sending a certain program to a certain desktop, which is actually impossible as far as I can tell with this software if you're trying to do it on something like Outlook.

  "A perfect application."

  Summary: It works. Doesn't hog memory. Easy to use and configure. Short cuts to the desktops. Not eye-candy. It's an application that lets you work more efficiently. If you are at work and end up with a ton of applications open, flash desktops is for you.
