  Comes with no bloatware, adware, spyware or toolbars & does exactly what it's supposed to!

  None that I know of...

  Summary

  This is the easiest video downloader I've used, it's very efficient, small file size and will dl video from just about every site. For the sites which are listed on it, you have a multiple choice of what file type/quality you'd like (eg; mp4, flv, etc.) You really can't go wrong with this one.

  Pros

  Efficient. Easy to use. Accesses lots of sites. Does not load additional toolbars. Does a great job so far with both Vimeo and YouTube.

  Cons

  None so far, although the advanced portions of interface are complex enough to be a little confusing.

  Summary

  This is definitely on my extension tool list.

  FOr some reason, the latest version (2.3) no longer allows me to clear the list of what has been completed. Also, sometimes it will use a large portion of RAM and cause stability issues.

  Summary

  I completely recommend the program, but hope there is a bug fix released soon.

• Not for Firefox Beta

  None. Could not download it.

  Cons

  When I clicked on the link to download this I was informed that the Firefox Download Helper does not work on my version of Firefox and could not be downloaded. I am assuming it is because I am using a Beta version of Firefox. But because I am not "tech-savvy" I can offer no further explanation.

  Pros

  great for downloading vids or um...films from other tube sites.

  Cons

  now it rarely downloads vids, or give you a accurate link to download, plus youtube seems to be trying to undermine it somehow. now all you get is ads when you think you got a music video.

  i loved this app at one point now it's frustrating as hell.

  Now it's crap. It records a download title, but doesn't download anything. Everything is 0 bytes. Worthless product. No documentation anywhere as to how to fix it.

• Easy tool for capturing streaming audio and video files

  Pros

  Captures almost all streaming video audio files. Also the "quick convert" is very useful as it allows you to pick which format to download the file with, which eliminates the hassle of having to convert after the download.

  Cons

  If you are capturing multiple files, it is sometimes confusing to distinguish which file is which because the titles of the files are often just a slew of letters and numbers, as opposed to real title of the video or music file. For example, I streamed the song "Make it Bun" by Skrillex and the title of the captured MP3 on download helper was "0pvhIAPmBtvs.128" rather than Skrillex - Make it Bun. It's not a deal breaker as I think this application is very useful, but like I said, it can lead to confusion.

  Summary

  User friendly and very useful for capturing streaming audio and video files. It is also very effective in that it does pick up most files that are streaming. I use it quite often and have recommended it to some of my friends.

  Pros

  Did exactly what I needed it to do! Allowed me to save file, rename it, watch, listen, etc.

  Cons

  One of the videos I was trying to download didn't work until I tried it for the fifth time...not sure what was getting in the way. Download button hard to see on firefox plugin banner. Sometimes slow.
