"Can't discontinue Premium Service and stop billings."
Version: FileServe Manager 1.0.2288
Pros
None, there are no pros since you can't stop the credit card charges.
Cons
The download works, but there is nowhere on the site to stop Premium Service Charges to credit card. E-mails to File Serve regarding Credit Card Cancellation when submitteed go to a disconnected page or site. So they don't get the stop service and rescind charging credit card. They are the CON!
Summary
Don't pay them unless you want to pay them forever or cancel your card.

"Crashes and doesn't resume."
Version: FileServe Manager 1.0.2288
Pros
It's free, but even that isn't a great thing, as there are far better programs that are also free (such as JDownloader).
Cons
Crashes commonly (on a Win7 64 comp)
Doesn't resume, so spends a lot of time re-downloading.
Difficult to move order of files for downloading.
"Stop" doesn't stop fully, and programs can get stuck in "Stopping"Summary
In a nutshell, this is a very poor downloader. I only started to use it when Jdownloader wasn't working with Fileserve links. I left Fileserve Manager on whilst I went to work. Came back and it had crashed. I then turned it back on and ran it whilst eating dinner / playing other games etc. Crashed another 4 times, and each time failed to resume.
Luckily, Jdownloader is working with Fileserve links again. -
"Looks OK but doesn't unzip and locks up computer"
Version: FileServe Manager 1.0.2288
Pros
Supports Fileserve.com downloads
Cons
Doesn't unzip/unrar
Doesn't monitor clipboard, each link needs to be manually added
Performance is horrible, memory usage through the roof, locks up computer
Only supports a hand full of download sitesSummary
It seems that FileServe is trying to get people to use the fileserve manager by forbidding access from other download managers such as jDownloader. Sadly their product is horrible and I will go back to downloading manually.
The goal of a download manager is that it speeds up downloads and makes it easier to download files. They've got the first part right but the second so wrong :( -

Summary
really good speed if calibrated to about 15 threads,

"Horrible..."
Version: FileServe Manager 1.0.2288
Pros
Fast download speeds with select servers
Cons
default settings will change your homepage and install pesky toolbars.
Summary
NOT worth the hassle especially when tools such as jDownloader do a much better job.
-
"Spyware Free? Spyware FULL"
Version: FileServe Manager 1.0.2288
Pros
None, unistalled immediately
Cons
I should say I tried to uninstall it. After doing so,my homepage is magically fileserve, which I of course changed. Then no matter what search engine is selected in the search bar, it goes to yahoo-fileserve.
Summary
Browser hijack. Congratulations, I will be posting at all the filesharing sites that Fileserve installs spyware and browser hijack on your computer.

"Wow~ I like it, simple & easy"
Version: FileServe Manager 1.0.2288
Pros
A file manager that is not just allowing me to download, but also split up the large file into parts, and I can resume the process I left to work in the morning.
I like the way it categorize files accordingly (like Music, Video, picture)Cons
so desperately want to combine all the download tools I have had, for lately I have been using Youtube download tool, and it just wasting too much resources if they are basically the same nature in accessing information from internet.

"It is as convenient as what a download tool should be"
Version: FileServe Manager 1.0.2288
Pros
It totally integrate into my Firefox, when I attempted to download, it did connected to links from Hotfile, & Megaupload, after trying some others on my new laptop, this one is Superb.
Cons
It would invincible if it supports upload function like dropbox (which I am currently obsessing to)
Summary
Free software that allows me to accelerate the ordinary download speed, I will definitely support it.
