This Microsoft gadget does a great job of providing pregnancy-related information, although you won't be overwhelmed by the breadth and depth of facts provided. As a free online gadget, Fetalculator doesn't actually install or run on your PC. The creative interface offers several knobs for setting your conditions, such as expected sex of the baby, reference date, year, month, and day. It is nice that you can control the knobs even with the slightest mouse movement, although its sensitivity gets a bit annoying. Aside from providing key dates on fertilization, fetal viability, and timing for screening tests, Fetalculator shows also an impressive graphical rendering of baby's month-by-month development and links to other pregnancy-related Web sites. However, in our tests, we found that changing the gender of the baby makes no difference on the results provided. As it is a gadget, don't expect to be able to save any of your results. The program is exclusive to Internet Explorer 6 users only. Still, Fetalculator is a nice gadget especially for women wanting to learn more about their pregnancy.

Dial in the expected gender of your baby. Dial in the reference date. Dial in month, day and year of your reference date. After you press the 'Fetaculate' button, you will be transported to the 'Results' tab. The Results tab will display all important dates in your pregancy as well as relavent information about your current week of pregnancy.
