  This program has nothing good for it

  Installed MyPCBackup without permission. Came with a virus that activated popups on all kinds of retail and banking sites.

  Don't use this program,. I wish I still had my copy of Bitfax.

  Don't work at all with 3CX Phone system, but Joyfax Server works perfectly.

  The description sounded good, I had no problems downloading and installing the program.

  Cons

  Could not get it to send the fax. The program would scan the document, and prepare it for transmission, but then could not access the modem. fail every time

  AVG reported spyware and identity threats with this program and recommended NOT to install.

  I won't install it.

  Summary

  Shareware companies have to stop sneaking around and just charge you up front. The price should be displayed before you buy and there should be an uncrippled Trial available.

  Pros

  it works and works perfectly! i was very pleasantly surprised to see it working as well on win-7 as it did on XP (never tried vista). too bad all the cnet software could not make this claim.

  Cons

  it took a little while to figure out how to make a long-distance call using a calling-card. might be nice to have small-print saying "use the comma character for a one-second pause" on the phone number page.

  Summary

  we need to use the fax for medical records (and people wonder why medical systems are so archaic). this program lets me fax out using my old us-robotics modem, so i dont need to own a fax machine! i would be very happy to see the fax machine go away completely, but in the meantime, this software makes faxing tolerable!

  An excellent no frills fax and scan program. You can actually talk or email the creator of the program and he will respond to your questions!

  Cons

  There really or no cons. Some users might not like the fact that there are no unnecessary bells and whistles. It is a well thought out program that has no bugs in it.

  Summary

  If you are looking for a fax and scan program that actually works then this program is it. When is the last time you were actually able to talk to the inventor and creator of a program? I have been using one version or another of this program for over ten years.
