FairStars CD Ripper rips audio CD tracks to WMA, MP3, OGG, VQF, FLAC, APE, and WAV formats on the fly. Free CDDB is supported (querying and submitting). The program supports normalization when ripping as well as ID3 tag. It also supports playback with its built-in player.

What's new in this version:

Version 1.29 corrects an error for writting mp3 tag.

Version: FairStars CD Ripper 1.29

"This CD ripper works GREAT!"

Pros: This ripper lets you choose the format (wav, mp3, wma, etc) to use and even lets you select the bitrate (where appropriate). It will get information from the internet on the CD you are ripping, IF YOU WANT IT.

Cons: I haven't found anything yet.

Summary: I use this ripper all of the time and it's FREE!
