Exif wMarker is a basic program that applies watermarks to batches of images. With the capability to apply not only custom text but also EXIF and IPTC information to images, this program gives you some extra options for creating useful watermarks.

The program's interface is plain and fairly intuitive: Simply select the source and destination folders for the images to which you want to add watermarks, and then input the actual watermark information, which is formatted as a separate header and footer on each image. You can write freeform text or easily insert File, EXIF, and IPTC metadata information for each image, as well as customized the size, font, and other aspects of the watermark's appearance. You can also adjust the watermark's position on the image, as well as specify the quality of the resulting JPGs of the resized images. Although the program doesn't seem to let you add pre-existing graphic watermarks to images--you can't, for example, use your own logo as a watermark--it's still a good choice for adding text-based watermarks, especially if you need them to include the images' metadata. Exif wMarker's online Help file is brief but adequate. Overall, while the program didn't totally knock our socks off, it sure pulled them down. We found Exif wMarker effective and easy and to use, and we think it's a good choice for this kind of task.

Exif wMarker is free. It installs and uninstalls without issues. We recommend this program to all users.
