From Softgalaxy :Excel-MySQL is A powerful tool to convert any MySql database into Excel spreadsheets or vice versa. Many advanced features are supported like ( scheduling , command line support, tables selection , fields selection..) the wizard can also store any Excel file into a php script to import it to mysql even if a remote connection to the target mysql server is not allowed.
In version 3, scheduling of the conversion tasks can be performed automatically.

Version: Excel MySQL Converter 3
"You get what you pay for!!! Dont waste your money!"
Pros: The only thing I like about this program is the price, but keep in mind... you get what you pay for. If you need support, look somewhere else because when the program hangs up on you, you will not get any help from these guys.
Cons: Support is terrible and the program hangs up all the time. Dont even think of using the schedular, because it does not work worth a flip.

Version: Excel MySQL Converter 3
"Handles large Excel files very well"
Pros: I had been trying to convert an Excel file containing over 14,600 rows and 4 columns of data into MySql.
HTTP tunneling with another MySql management product almost crashed the server. Remote connection to my MySql server was not an option.
I used the product's separate PHP file method (for when remote connection isn't available). Even though it took nearly
12 minutes to convert my Excel file, it worked flawlessly when I executed the php file (the PHP file needs to be uploaded to your server first).
I would recommend this to anyone who needs an Excel to MySql file conversion.
Cons: Not really a "con", just be sure the Excel worksheet's name is the same name as the MySql table. Saves you any editing of the created PHP file before importing.
