Summary
Playlists store information about where files are stored, meaning they have a hard-coded path, so the playlist is trying to play a file on your computer--instead of the iPod.
Also, the applicaiton says its an iPod manager. It probably has been coded to clear your iPod's library so that it has original control over the files put on the iPod. This piece of software is essentially trying to replace the iTunes sync feature...not work alongside it. -

I used this to copy a playlist to my ipod since I have some on my computer and don't want to rebuild them by hand. it seemed to work fine but when I disconnected the ipod all of my music was gone! I am very displeased with this piece of software.
