The Enhanced QuickTime External greatly expands the capabilities available to Revolution developers. Some features:

  • Receive QTApplicationNumberAndString, FSCommand, QTHotSpotEnter and QTHotSpotLeave event messages.
  • Set a movie QTList.
  • Get/set sprite variables.
  • Execute sprite events.
  • Set movie properties such as looping, full screen playback size, annotations, etc.
  • Edit, save and export QT movies.
  • Advanced interation with QTVR movies.
  • Check movie download status.

What's new in this version:

  • Added qtFlipMovie for flipping movies horizontally or vertically.
  • FSCommand messages are now sent to the player object when generated by a SWF movie.
  • Added qtGetTrackName and qtGetTrackType.
  • Fixed some memory errors.
  • Fixed a bug in qtSaveMovieSnapShotToFile.
