  The description says FREE but this is a session limited demo - it will work over five launches and then stop. The price is around 170 euros for a full unlimited version - so what's free?

• Excel alternative to Microsoft Project

  Pros

  This is the Excel version of Microsoft Project. More useful features than MSP including email and outlook syncronization. Easier to use than MSP.

  Pros

  The 2-hr EasyProjectPlan training program was very informative and helpful. Nobody in our company had any project management experience and we learned how to manage a project in only a few hours. The software is very easy to use and low cost.

  Pros

  EasyProjectPlan allows me to walk onto any project and immediately distribute and collect task information to all team members using Excel and Outlook. Most companies use Excel and Outlook so there is nothing to install and its EASY-TO-USE!

  Summary

  I use the Outlook and Calendar sync features to distribute and collect task information to my team members. I distribute the EPP Excel file to all team members either by email or I post it in a shared folder. My team members can edit the EPP excel file and send the changes back to me. Most of the companies I work for have no PM task management system so EPP allows me to walk onto any project and immediately distribute and collect task information to all team members. Considering that most companies use Excel and Outlook, there is nothing to install on any computer. In my experience, team members prefer to view task information in Excel and Outlook.
