You'd expect a program called Easy PDF to Word Converter to be simple to use, and it is. But effective? Not so much. On the upside, Easy PDF to Word Converter lets you decide how to deal with spaces between characters and whether to retain images from the original file. But as it turns out, the program doesn't convert files to Word's DOC format; instead, it converts them to RTF, which has nothing specifically to do with Word at all. Sneaky! Moreover, while Easy PDF to Word Converter did remove graphics in our tests, it failed to delete spaces between words. The interface, for its part, is dull to the point of ugliness. The demo lets you convert five pages, which should be enough to decide whether the program suits your needs. We've already made up our minds: we'd rather use a utility that's not just easy, but honest.

  Cons: It just was not able to convert my pdf file to word.
