just edit the macro script using notepad, i use a lot of different data input in single program so i just mailmerge from hundreds of data store in xcel, merge to new doc and copy it to the notepad, save it, and play macro. cant do that using macroexpress

I found this macro recorder to be the easiest to use with the least amount of bugs for any similar product i have tried. loop function is fantastic as well as the option to record without mouse movements which really speeds things up.
Cons
sometimes would have to record a couple times to get it just right or it seemed to miss a movement but way better than the others.
Summary
the macro edit tool is also easy to use for a novice when it comes to code.

No instructions. Confusing pop-up screens. Says no experience needed. But Control + Alt + R does not seem to record. Playback gives me blank forms on Internet Explorer.
Summary
The free version for 15 trial might be a crappier version, but why would I spend money on a program I cant make work at all.

Sometimes the program works, which is a bonus. It can easily run commands and succesfully complete tasks
Cons
This product is very badly written. It does not use any of the windows features such as ctrl c and ctrl v which makes tasks so time consuming its not worth the time. The point of not been able to use the programs own features is disaappointing.
Summary
If you have 1000 years u your sleave you should use this program, if not dont use it.

Captures EVERY keystroke with the timing and everything! You can even edit the saved macro to run a bit faster by cutting down the pauses made by human reaction times. This is made even better by being able to increase the overall playback speed!

Ummmm... I eat too much now because the Easy Macro Recorder does 95% of my mundane work for me!

I've tried SEVERAL macro programs and for some reason they all decide to think that they know what you want to have done... So they change keystrokes or don't record certain keystrokes at all. It's a one button hotkey on this program to start recording. and One button to stop. You can change them if you want to.
It just records everything exactly how you want it including the Ctrl, Alt, Shift, AND Windows keys!! The best part about this program is the simultaneously pressed keys work flawlessly in this piece of software due to the nature of the structuring of the macro file itself.
The macro editor is key in trying to make the most of your macro. I've never really had any luck with Macros and using the mouse... This one is pretty much the same right out of the box. But if you have to use the mouse and you want to run your macro at high speed, just increase the time that the mousedown is recorded at.
This macro software does not use Key "Strokes" like all of the rest of them. It uses key presses and states. So it records how long each key is pressed down for and when it gets released.
There is definitely no other better macro software out there. I've been using this one for years and it's been perfect! -

I don't know what they're trying to pull, but this is NOT free software. The second after installing it, I tried to use the program to create a macro, and when I opened the file that I had recorded, it said I had to register.

It works. Not self-evident for macro recorders.
Quite easy operability.
Cons
File size too large compared with the the features.
Needs to be be installed.
Very few functions. Many important parameters can't be set. Must be edited by hand which makes it very time-consuming to get a working macro.
The user interface is also quite poor.
