This free screensaver really ratchets up the cute factor. As in the other screensavers by Drawing Hand, Easter Artwork starts with a pencil outline on paper, which then gets filled in as if someone is really rendering the scene in pastels. The scene depicts a duckling and a rabbit looking on as a chick breaks out of its shell. The duckling quacks, the rabbit blinks, the chick peeps. You can even hear the eggshell crack. The only nag is a brief promotional screen for ArtStudio, the software used to create the screensaver's effects. Sure, you have to manually open the Display control panel, hit the Screen Saver tab, and select the program from the list. Also, the only setting is one that lets you ignore mouse movements. Still, the aesthetic appeal and price make Easter Artwork the perfect screensaver for the holiday.Publisher's description

Version: Easter Artwork 1.5
Pros: It downloads fine and it works
Cons: It's just not terribly cute. There's no mystery as to what is being drawn. But it beats not having any Easter screensaver at all.
