Very effective.
Cons
A little complicated setting up exceptions but eset customer service is good.
Summary
I don't know what the 1 star rater's problem was. I have never had any problem updating Eset Nod32.
I had a problem with a virus that none of the free antivirus programs,Macafee or Norton could fix. Eset fixed it. -

Pros
what pros? works against user.
Cons
First the download sucks. It damaged the older version. Messed with my Internet connection so I could not get on line. Then I had to uninstall it. Once I was able to get the newer one installed it locked me out of all my web sites. I try to find help on the Eset page but navigating that mess just made me madder.
Summary
Don't fix it if it's not broken. Adding bells and buzzers just makes this not work. The older one worked just like it should and never left me crazy.
