Summary
It's a great product and you have an on-line, real time status check of your domain. You can check it from any location. Just one advice: don't use Dynu's FTP server cause it's horrible - get a better one. But this Dynamic DNS client is awesome.

Summary
After installing this product with XP, i recieved errors and could not run basic applications or access the control panel to uninstall. Finally i was able to uninstall it. However, after rebooting the icon was still in the system tray and the application was still running. i still have not been able to succesfully uninstall it and get my computer back to its previous state.

buggy. It can't get my external IP sometimes, even though I had
exclude the internal IP address.
However, the IP will be resolved
correctly after waiting for some
hours. This will be a terrible

I found this tool to be lacking in some major ways. I discovered that the No-IP.com tool to be everything I needed and more! I do not recommend this application.

What can i say besides great! Have been searching for a while for a good service that would allow me to use my PC as a webserver without using just my dynamic IP#...I had been having to give friends my new IP everytime i signed off so they could find my page again. Now with Dynu my websites always where it should be as long as I'm connected. And ya can't beat free. Thanks Dynu :)

"Excellent product for non static IPs"

Summary
Excellent product for people who DO NOT have a static IP. Yes, you have to pay if you have a domain name already and wish to use it, but if you dont mind having yourname.dynu.com then it IS free. To all those who wish to whinge, think of the many others who dont wish to pay for a static IP. This is the way to go.
