True to its name, this handy tool lets you easily convert AutoCAD files into different image file formats. DwgConvert has a very intuitive interface with large, clearly labeled buttons. It converts a file to another format in just a few clicks. The program supports a multitude of image file formats, such as BMP, JPG, TIFF, and GIF. It also can convert DWG files to PDF format. You can batch-convert files and specify the input and output folders. In our test, conversion was a breeze and didn't bog down our computer's performance. Unfortunately, the trial version added some extra characters in the output file. It offers easy customization options--like output image attributes and background color--that should satisfy basic-level users. Even though it is shareware, DwgConvert is fully functional. To sum it up, those who need to convert file formats for other users who don't have an AutoCAD program can certainly benefit from this application.
