As a free universal cloud service, Dropbox for Android allows the user to automatically upload images, videos, or other data to a remote location for secure storage. This application is universally compatible with all computers, phones, and tablets, which means that users can choose Dropbox as their service regardless of the device they use. All the devices are able to connect to this cloud storage service, save to the same virtual library, and access data at any time.

For users new to this service, Dropbox includes a short setup and registration process. The user interface is very intuitive and it includes helpful instructions to get started. Users should be cautioned, however, that Dropbox for Android has the potential to consume massive quantities of data. A pop-up window will ask if you wish to share information via Wi-Fi only or through the phone's data connection; Wi-Fi only is recommended. The entire contents of your device's gallery will be saved to Dropbox and this is probably a lot of information. If you have a lot of images, the upload process can be time-consuming. In our tests, images took a minute a piece to upload and videos took even longer. The good news is that this operation is only performed once and can be done in the background while you continue using your device.

If you already use Dropbox or need to store your files on a secure remote location, then Dropbox for Android seems like a smart choice. It is an amazing tool that lets you securely store all your files and easily access them from any other device you use.
