"Good as far as it goes, but didn't go far enough for me"
Version: Drive Health 2.5.194
Pros
Displays all parameters of the IDE only disks, and the data presented can be saved to a text file and monitored for changes and degradation. The Help file explains all the numbers collected and their meanings. Help file also has a FAQ section.
Cons
This SW only reported on my IDE drive. No report on (or "detection") of the SATA drive, or other 6 SCSI HDDs. The FAQ file states that SCSI and Raid drives are not supported, presumably that also includes SATA drives, it didn't see my SATA HDD.
Summary
Win XP SP3 reported on a possible predictive failure of one of my disk drives, and this program did not detect which one it was. I gave it three stars because the data it did present was good, but I wished that it had covered all my drives.
This software will be removed from computer as it doesn't meet my needs. I need a program like this, that covers SCSI, IDE, SATA and SAS drives.
