Like LaunchBar, Fruitmenu, and Default Folder, this popular and well-tested shareware GUI-enhancer has become an indispensable addition to OS X for many users. DragThing exists to make getting to things on your Mac--files, folders, apps, disks, URLs, and windows--quick and easy. Inveterate interface tweakers love DragThing because you can create multiple docks (like the OS X Dock) that can be almost infinitely configured to suit your specific situation. Plus, you can save snippets, define tons of hot keys, and perform quite a few neat OS tricks (like putting a Trash back on your desktop).
If you don't like bells and whistles, DragThing might not be your thing--it's arguably nothing but bells and whistles, and the preferences can be a little overwhelming to new users. But if you like to have your OS X experience just so, few apps can help you better. This latest update adds support for Snow Leopard, a new dock theme ("Marble"), an option to highlight 32-bit apps, and more.

Version: DragThing 5.9.5
"friendlier than the Dock! together they are wonderful"
Pros: one movement, one click, one more movement and I'm where I want to be.
Navigation city!Cons: there isn't anything I don't like :-)
Summary: It allows me to switch between applications with a minimum of actions - it's slick, easy to use, and easy to customise, but tbh, once I set it up over the first week or so, I haven't had to touch it since. It's a good friend
