This free clipboard manager looks straightforward at first but ultimately lacks cut-and-paste simplicity. The system-tray icon's Quick Paste option displays recent clipboard items, which you can drag and drop or double-click to insert in the current document. The 10 most recently copied items are numbered and can be accessed through hot keys; others appear in the order they were copied. You can sort clips in ascending or descending order, but the Filter box at the bottom of Ditto's window didn't work in our tests, and managing clips became more difficult with each new entry. The multitabbed Options window looks drab and cluttered, and while some settings, such as keeping the program on top, are easy to understand, others need explanation the meager help file doesn't provide. Ditto covers the basics, but many users--especially novices--will be disappointed by its lack of guidance and limited clip-management capabilities.Publisher's description

Version: Ditto 3.16.8
"it's ok, but i liked the previous version better"
Pros: it works ok, but the newest version i dont like as much as the previous one i had.
Cons: the newest verion doesnt automatically drop the item i double-klick right into the text window i'm using like the older version did.
Summary: it's ok since either i dont have a clipboard or cant find it or how to get to it on my antique Dino-putersaur.

Version: Ditto 3.16.8
"All the clip boards you could possibly need"
Pros: Has become my mainstay for copy/paste
Cons: Doesn't come up inside of ThePersonalBrain, but that's a Brain problem, not Dittos
Summary: Works so easy and quick and holds so many clips.
