This comprehensive weight management program offers several features to help users set and track diet goals, but its stingy trial period doesn't offer enough time to fully explore them. In addition to several online guides and a sample profile, Diet Pro offers a helpful step-by-step approach to create a new profile and the application also automatically creates a calorie budget based on your input. You can track food intake and exercises, plus there's a handy calendar to view total daily calories, calories consumed, and calories expended. Both the Meal Plan and Exercise sections of the program offer preloaded databases that make it easier to add information, but you also can enter new recipes and activities. You'll find other tools to help maximize your dieting efforts, including a grocery list generator, unit converter, and calorie calculator. In addition, you can add entries to the diary or upload photographs to help further motivate you. On the negative side, the demo limits you to 10 uses and the program takes up a hefty 68MB of space. However, Diet Pro offers a wide array of tools to help any weight-conscious user reach his or her weight goals.

  Pros: did what it was supposed to do.

  Cons: I would not pay for this especially since there are free sites that are better, like sparkpeople.com.
