This program provides simple information regarding your horoscope. To use Desktop Zodiac, you first enter your date of birth, then hit the Submit button. You'll then see the graphical diagram of the planets rotate until it reaches your sign. You also can change the viewing angle of the planetary map by adjusting the vertical and horizontal sliders. The application has three meters for fortune, romance, and wealth, each of which fill up with different-colored lines according to your weekly or monthly outlook (the trial version disables the daily option). However, there's no indication of what the various colors mean, and since Desktop Zodiac lacks help files, this remains a mystery. Apart from the meters though, the utility offers no other astrological information such as more in-depth text-based predictions. Users with a passing interest in their horoscope might find some novelty value in this download, but hard-core astrology aficionados will crave something more robust.
