Easily check Web page coding with this handy Internet Explorer toolbar. DebugBar's easily-resized, simple pull-down menu and tab interface sits beside your IE display. The toolbar uses tooltips to conserve valuable screen space, and most data is presented in easy-to-understand spreadsheet style.
You can easily check for script errors, poor HTML coding, and other Web page pitfalls. Simply press a tab to reveal information about the currently displayed Web page. DebugBar's most useful function offers a dragable target to ferret out information about a specific element of the page. As you drag the target, DebugBar helps your search by highlighting discovered elements. Primarily designed for Web site designers, this add-on is chock-full of code tools. In page source tabs, HTML commands are always color coded to stand out. Scripts are properly indented to help follow their functions. The HTML validation tool quickly checks page code for problems, listing each with its line number and a simple error explanation.
In addition to the usual coder tools, DebugBar includes a few helpful extras. With a couple of clicks, you can e-mail a screen capture of the Web page. Simply slide the color picker along the Web page to copy the RGB code of any pixel on your display. To see your Web page in one of the three main display sizes, grab a size from an easy pull-down menu. This add-on is freeware for non-commercial users. DebugBar is easy enough for novice Web page designers, but also includes helpful tools for the experienced coder.
