Used Dean's Law Dictionary for Windows?
Editors’ Review
Dean's Law Dictionary provides an impressive collection of legal reference materials suitable for any practicing attorney or law student. Its organizational tools and in-depth data make this a great daily tool and a fine educational program, too.
The program's interface provides a simple menu and command icons that feel natural to operate. It's a bit annoying that a few of the program's commands are locked during its trial period, but for the most part the dictionary is easy to use and yields fast results. The program's heart is the Law Dictionary, a great source of legal enlightenment, with hundreds if not thousands of searchable words and definitions, including copious legal terminology. You can scroll through hundreds of statutory case files and legal topics ranging from Administrative Procedure to Alternative Means of Dispute and more. Dean's also provides reference material as varied as Magna Carta, the Declaration of Independence, and Habeas Corpus Act, all in full. The program also impressed us with a special feature that lets you highlight and circle items for quick reference in the future. If this reference library had been published as a physical book, it would be enormous, but its helpful files and definitions are compressed into a single, simple point of access.
Dean's Law Dictionary has a three-day trial limitation. It installs desktop icons without permission. This dictionary's breadth and depth as a reference of the law make it a fantastic choice that we recommend unreservedly.
