Day Clipboard Utility is a basic program that automatically saves text and images and copies it to the clipboard. Although the program works well enough, certain aspects of its design make it hard to like.
The application's interface is somewhat cluttered, with a lot of buttons and boxes that aren't particularly intuitive. In fact, we're still not sure what some of the boxes do. You set the program to automatically capture either text or both text and images, and after that you just use your computer as usual. Anytime an item is copied to the clipboard, Day Clipboard Utility saves it and labels it by date and time. We like that the program displays copied images within its interface, although the small space allotted for this function can't accommodate many images, and Day Clipboard Utility doesn't scale images to fit. The program also contains a text converter that converts text to all upper or lower case, a note-taking feature, and a digital clock. The built-in Help file is brief and not particularly detailed. Although the program works just fine and we didn't encounter any functional problems, we can't say we were very impressed with it. In the end, its interface just felt too clumsy and hard to navigate.
Day Clipboard Utility is free. It installs and uninstalls without issues.
From Daydreams Informatica:
With Day Clipboard Utility you can capture every text or image copied (CTRL+C) and it automatically saves them in text and image format. It will also automatically name the files using the computer's date and time stamp. Version 2.4.5 improved the interface and updated the guide.
