This program organizes your family tree. The installation goes by so fast you don't even notice it, and Ages - Family Tree Database then launches automatically. The main window doesn't overwhelm you with many buttons and features, since they're all hidden inside the software. After creating a new family member, you start generating the whole tree by specifying the person's relations, kids, and spouse or partner, along with data about birth, christening, and burial and other facts, notes, and sources of information. By creating cards for each family member, you can generate the whole tree and keep it updated. You can view brief or detailed information for any particular family member. The program doesn't show you the whole database in tree form. This drawback is minor, though. The program still works for people who wish to keep track of their ancestors and relatives.Publisher's description

Version: Daub Ages 1.51
"Not really GEDCOM compatible"
Pros: Nice user interface
Cons: When you add a GEDCOM file from GenCircles.com, you'll never be able to save your family tree again.

Version: Daub Ages 1.51
Cons: Not intuitive enough. Users with only a basic understanding of such applications [me] will struggle to generate a tree.

"very good but need just a little more, hopes the next ver"
Pros: i found this very good.
what i like most you dont have to put it on a public site on the net
Cons: things needed in my view
1. a nickname fields as most of my family is know by nicknames
2. i found it imposible to completly remove a name
3. when my family heard i was making a family they all want to say (voice) something about themselves, cant be done!
4 it would be nice if it had a windows NT server type sercurty as you dont want one member of the family too see another info without asking i.e they can see their person but no more by clicking send am email.

Version: Daub Ages 1.51
Pros: I almost fell in love with this software instantly. I reached the 50 people limit within hours and decided to buy a license key. Never regretted it! Even with the 2500 people in my database now it runs as smoothly as ever - on my old system.
