Free software allows you to easily create Video and Data DVDs and CDs. Quick-erase or fully erase any type of RW disc. After writing, you can verify the disc to ensure data integrity. Protect your investment by making backup copies of CDs and DVDs. Copy video DVDs and data DVDs and audio or data CDs using a simple wizard interface. Create DVDs and CDs using any type of media, including mini-DVDs and business card CDs. There are no restrictions. Make industry-standard ISO image files. Use image files to create exact duplicates of the disc later. You can also burn downloaded images to disc. Advanced hyperthreading technology lets you continue to work on other tasks while your DVD is burned in the background.
What's new in this version: Version 2.29 adds the ability to create video DVDs from your Quicktime MOV and from MP4 files in addition to AVI, WMV, VOB, MPEG formats.

Ease of use, great DVD copies.
Cons
Tried to copy a poor quality DVD disc. It copied, verified, but there were no tracks copied, only titles. It would be nice if it could informed you that disc was unreadable.

took a long time to convert and burn to disc. not much in the features department (no menus, unable to put spaces between clips etc.)
Summary
pretty limited functionality but at least it works. gone through several paid for programs that didn't work as well as this one. the time it took to burn 1 disc was frustrating but it's very possible it was the computer not the program. if you aren't worried about the details and just want to get your video on a disc, this is going to work for you.

Does everything I wanted out of Nero, but in less than 1/10th the download/program size! Straightforward, simple copying/burning software for DVD/CD. I've been digging through free burners forever trying to find something like this.
Cons
No feature for making/printing labels (I just use an Avery template and MS word instead)

Great stuff. Uninstalling Nero's decent (but incredibly bloated) software next :)

It's easy to create DVDs with this software.
Cons
It doesn't support all file types. It does not support .flv files so I had to use Hamster Video Converter to convert the files into a compatible file type.
