DBeaver (32-Bit) is universal database tool for developers and database administrators. Usability is the main goal of this project, program UI is carefully designed and implemented. It is multiplatform, based on open source framework and allows writing various extensions (plugins), supports any database which has JDBC driver, and may handle any external data source which may or may not have a JDBC driver.
What's new in this version: Version 2.2.2 fixes UI freeze on disconnect with socket timeout.

Pros
Powerful, nice sql format, not memory hug. It offers me connection to oracle thin, mysql, sybase and many more. The fact that it is free. I loved it more than toad, mysql workbench and dbvisualizer. It connects to oracle thin, sybase, mysql like a charm.
Cons
Takes a little getting used to.
Summary
This is great tool to connect to your db. If you don't like the limitation of the free versions of the commercial ones, this is great alternative.
