An important aspect of search engine optimization is figuring out what words people are likely to type into a search engine to try to find your Web site, and to then make sure that your Web site contains those words. CuteRank Free Edition is an easy way to see how your keywords are performing in the top search engines. Although the program won't show you which keywords people are actually using to get to your site, it will tell you how effective your chosen keywords are.

Using CuteRank is simple: just enter your Web site's address and then either have the program detect keywords from the site's metadata or enter keywords manually. CuteRank then lets you select the search engines you want to analyze; the options include Google, Yahoo, Bing, Ask, and AOL, and for each of these you can select the countries you want to analyze. Click OK, wait a minute or so, and CuteRank comes back with results for each keyword in each search engine. We found, for example, that when we searched for our name, our personal Web site was the 12th Google result, but that with this keyword our site didn't even show up in the top 100 results for the other search engines. The program has some pretty cool extras, including the ability to create reports and to schedule updates for a particular time each day. The program also lets you track keyword performance over time. Though it's true that CuteRank doesn't really tell you anything that you couldn't figure out by just going to a search engine and entering your keywords, it does make the process of monitoring keyword effectiveness significantly easier. The program's online Help file is brief but adequate.

CuteRank Free Edition installs a desktop icon without asking and leaves a folder and Start menu item behind upon removal. We recommend this program.

Very bad experience

Pros
I liked the software. It has a lot of options and you can easily check the rankings, generate reports etc. Considering its pretty low price, I think it does much more than you pay for.
Cons
The customer support is really bad. Generally speaking, they don't stress too much to help you if you're having an issue with the software. And they stop responding at some point, even if you've bought the premium version.
Summary
I started with the trial version and, because I was pleased, I purchased the premium edition. It worked fine for the first two months or so, but at some point it stopped displaying rankings in Google. So I contacted support and they offered some solutions at first. They were saying that my IP was blocked by Google. As their suggestions didn't solve my issue, I wrote them again. I received no answer this time. I waited for two weeks, a period of time during which I tried several other SERP-related software. They worked just fine so the problem wasn't as they pointed out. After two weeks I contacted them again and asked for a refund. Again, no answer and I haven't received any reply from them since them. Looking back, considered that they don't give a f... about their customers, I strongly recommend to look for another software. Cheers!

The software works pretty well most of the time, and it simple to use.
Cons
It misses some obvious features.. and the support is terrible. I emailed about my reports being completely mis-aligned and gave great detail in my support request. I got a message back saying: Well, it works OK for me. Made me quite angry.. I'm glad it works well for you mr developer, but it's not working well here. Maybe let me know some files to check or settings to check. Grr.

I gonna tell you this, I've been with this product since 2011, it has been 3 years now, though the feature of the program is relaly simple to use, no complex, no difficulties. But one thing when you email for their customer support for help(after you bought their product), they will certainly treat your situation like nothing, for let's say I told them I want to re-install and how could I handle it. I write maybe a 3 paragraph explaining all the details and guess what they reply? "No." Funny if you purchase their product, like you will know what you will be treated. Never buy cuterank. Waste of money
