Converber provides an incredible amount of options as a unit converter. With a simple layout and an impressive collection of units, this program will be helpful for school and everyday life.
We dove right into the program's intuitive and simply laid out interface, with two main menus of conversions front and center. We would have liked a more robust Help file, perhaps with definitions of the more obscure conversions, but were able to fully utilize the program nonetheless. At first we didn't believe the program description boasting over 1,200 conversion units, but we quickly learned it was no lie. We didn't count each one, but the overwhelming list held common and obscure units dealing with time, velocity, frequency, torque, mass, and more. Numbers were entered and converted instantly. While all these units could have grown overwhelming, the program smartly offered two features to help stay organized. First, the program divided its 1,200 units into 33 separate categories, so, for example, if you know you need a conversion for Power, you can filter out hundreds of unrelated units. In addition, the program allows you to save your favorite conversions, creating a future shortcut. We've tested several conversion calculators and this is by far the most comprehensive. We were impressed by its simplicity and its breadth.
Converber is a freeware program. We highly recommend it.

Version: Converber 2.2.1
Pros: I DO like the breadth of listings to convert, However:
Cons: It IS time consuming searching for the exact match to be converted on both ends.
Summary: This is a great program, unrtil I can find the one I lost in the crash that did a decidedly better job of categorizing and grouping convertibles.
