CNET Editors' review
This program claims to conceal your IP address but it doesn't function properly. Complete Anonymous Internet is said to allow Web surfing, e-mail transmission, and message board posts using a SOCKS proxy. Its interface appears simple but the omission of a help file makes getting started tricky. Unlike competitive IP-anonymity software, this application requires you to create your own SOCKS proxy list. During tests a message is displayed instructing us to use the program's autopilot for a list of proxies, but oddly enough, the program doesn't feature an autopilot. Upon entering a proxy, the program constantly launches error messages and crashes. While this software's five-day trial is short, it doesn't take long to figure out it's an ineffectual anonymity tool all the way around.Publisher's Description
From PC Mesh:
Complete Anonymous Internet is an Internet utility to hide your IP address when you are browsing the Web, posting messages to usenet news groups, sending e-mails and using all other Internet related software. Connecting to Internet via a socks proxy is also the best protection against viruses, trojans, and other malware.
