Editors' reviewThis program claims to conceal your IP address but it doesn't function properly. Complete Anonymous Internet is said to allow Web surfing, e-mail transmission, and message board posts using a SOCKS proxy. Its interface appears simple but the omission of a help file makes getting started tricky. Unlike competitive IP-anonymity software, this application requires you to create your own SOCKS proxy list. During tests a message is displayed instructing us to use the program's autopilot for a list of proxies, but oddly enough, the program doesn't feature an autopilot. Upon entering a proxy, the program constantly launches error messages and crashes. While this software's five-day trial is short, it doesn't take long to figure out it's an ineffectual anonymity tool all the way around.
Complete Anonymous Internet is an Internet utility to hide your IP address when you are browsing the Web, posting messages to usenet news groups, sending e-mails and using all other Internet related software. Connecting to Internet via a socks proxy is also the best protection against viruses, trojans, and other malware.
